Inspiration to Teach:
When I was in high school, I had an opportunity to work with elementary aged children.  During that experience, I realized that I loved being in the classroom where I could impact the lives of students.  It is my hope that my passion for teaching has a lasting and positive impression on each student that passes through my classroom.

Teaching at Aquinas:
One of the reasons that I love teaching science at Aquinas Middle School is that students are actively engaged during the learning process through hands-on experiments.  Where else but in 8th grade science can students blow bubbles with helium and carbon dioxide to compare the properties of gases? Being able to integrate faith into our curriculum is another one of the many reasons I love teaching in a Catholic school.
When asked what makes Aquinas Catholic Schools special, my response is always a resounding—“the people”!  Our pastors are tremendous supporters of our schools.  The teachers and administrators are extremely talented, caring and dedicated.  Parents willingly sacrifice so much to ensure that their children receive a quality, Catholic education.  Finally, our students, with their energy and zest, make Aquinas Catholic Schools an awesome place to grow and learn.
